What to do in the first 48 hours
Over the first 48 hours, it is important to rest your brain and body. That means staying home from school, no physical activity and limiting:
- Screen time (on any electronic device e.g. phone, TV, computer, Tablets)
- School work/concentration
- Loud noises and social situations
- No alcohol
- No driving
The more you rest during this time, the faster the recovery and return to normal.
Book a doctor appointment as soon as possible, to be assessed or cleared of concussion.
